Dear Miracle League Families,
Join us at Camp Harkness in Waterford for our annual celebration of the end of summer. The So Long Summer Family Picnic will take place on Saturday, August 29th from noon to – 5 pm. Cost is just $10 per person and includes a BBQ Lunch (hamburgers, hot dogs, veggie burgers, side salads, juice and water and a surprise treat after lunch—all that plus a (hopefully) beautiful day on the accessible beach at Camp Harkness

Our picnic will take place from Noon to 5 pm. We will be serving lunch from 12:15 – 4 pm. There will be hamburgers /cheeseburgers, veggie burgers, hot dogs, assorted picnic salads, chips, water, and juice boxes. An Ice Cream truck will arrive at about 2 pm. Each attendee will get one free ice cream treat of their choice.
You are free to bring anything else that you would like for your families, but please know that alcoholic beverages are prohibited, and glass containers are prohibited on the beach. You are free to arrive and leave as you please, of course. We will have wrist bands for our folks to access the picnic food.
Pets or animals of any kind are prohibited at Camp Harkness with an exception for SERVICE animals only. Please provide proof of need if you are bringing a service animal. Support animals are not allowed. Please note that if you bring a non-service animal, you will be asked to leave.
We have three picnic pavilions reserved for the group, and all our guests will have beach access for the rest of the afternoon. There is a playground on site and a restroom/changing facility available. You may bring your own chairs and beach toys, life vests, or anything else you might need at the beach.
Please be sure to bring plenty of sunscreen to prepare for a warm, sunny day! The event will go on rain or shine.
