The Miracle League of Connecticut is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing inclusive, accessible recreational and athletic opportunities for children with physical, cognitive, and developmental challenges. Everything we do is grounded in a simple but powerful belief: every child deserves a chance to play.
What began as a vision to build a fully accessible baseball field has grown into a dynamic, year-round community serving hundreds of families across the state.
Our original goal—to build a Miracle League Field in West Hartford—has been proudly achieved. Located at the corner of Asylum Avenue and Trout Brook Drive within one of Connecticut’s premier Little League complexes, the field remains a cornerstone of our organization.
As the first fully wheelchair-accessible Miracle League field in New England, it continues to welcome players from across the state for our spring and fall baseball seasons. Alongside the field, our fully accessible playground has become one of the most active and inclusive play spaces in the region.
But today, the field is more than just a place to play baseball—it’s a hub for connection, confidence, and community.
The Miracle League of Connecticut has evolved well beyond baseball into a broader provider of inclusive programming designed to meet the diverse needs of our athletes and families.
Our current and expanding programs include:
As we continue to grow, our focus is on expanding both programming and access.
We are actively exploring new opportunities to serve our athletes year-round, including:
While we are proud to be home to Connecticut’s first Miracle League field, we know that access matters.
We are actively working to:
Our goal is simple: remove barriers to participation and ensure that more children and families can experience the joy of inclusive play.
The Miracle League of Connecticut is always evolving, and we welcome new ideas, partnerships, and communities who share our mission.
Whether you’re a family, volunteer, donor, or community leader, there is a place for you in our growing team.
Together, we can continue to ensure that every child truly has a chance to play
