Adapted Swim Lessons

๐ŸŠโ€โ™€๏ธ Adapted Swim Lessons โ€“ Session 3 Registration to Open Soon ๐ŸŒŠ

We are thrilled to partner with The Hospital for Special Care Aquatic & Rehabilitation Center to offer adapted swim lessons for children and young adults ages 5โ€“21 with intellectual, developmental, or physical disabilities.

๐Ÿ’™ Why This Program Matters

The HSC Aquatics Center is a state-of-the-art, fully accessible facility, making it an ideal and safe environment for Miracle League families.

๐Ÿ’ก Research shows children on the autism spectrum and children with disabilities are up to 160 times more likely to drown than their peers.

Thatโ€™s why water safety and awareness are essential life skills every child deserves.

๐ŸŠ Program Overview

Our adapted swim classes are designed to provide safe, supportive, and individualized instruction:

โœจ Small group instruction

  • All classes have a ratio of 1 instructor per 4 swimmers

โœจ Personalized attention

  • Each swimmer receives tailored instruction based on their needs and progress
  • Skills are adjusted individually for every participant

โœจ Family participation

  • Each swimmer must be accompanied in the water by a parent, guardian, or designated adult helper
  • Helpers should be comfortable in the water and will learn alongside the swimmer
